Playwright Eve Ensler interviewed women about their vaginas, often a taboo subject, and using their individual and collective stories wrote a series of monologues.

The Vagina Monologues was first performed in 1996, and have been performed around the world by both amateurs and professionals.

The monologues contain adult language and discuss adult themes. They are funny, poignant, intelligent and can be confronting - but should not be missed!
